How to configure your network connection?
1. In the main window, select Settings > Connection.
|
|
2. Choose your connection method. If Access Internet via proxy server is selected, you need to enter the proxy server's IP address and port. If authentication is required, enter your user name and password.
3. Select Safe SmartUpdate to block any other attempted network connections during SmartUpdate.
4. Click OK to save settings.

User ID
Prior to SmartUpdating, you must enter your User ID.
1. In the main window, select Settings > User ID.
2. Enter your User ID and click "OK".

SmartUpdate
Click the "Update" button on the right side of the main window.
OR in the main window, select Actions > SmartUpdate.
OR right-click the firewall icon in the system tray and select SmartUpdate Now in the pop-up menu.
